Hitachi Vantara is hiring a Software Development Engineer in Bengaluru (Residency Road) to work on VSP One Object and Hitachi Content Platform, its software-defined enterprise object storage products built for cloud-native and AI workloads. You will design, develop, test and maintain features across the object portfolio, including S3-compatible APIs, distributed metadata, deployment tooling and platform subsystems. Expect to write modular, well-tested code, take part in code reviews, and track down complex defects and performance issues while working with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps and support. Requirements: a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar (or equivalent experience) and about 2 to 5 years of professional software development, ideally on enterprise systems.
