Deloitte's Engineering (Platform Development & Integration) team in Bengaluru is hiring a Java Consultant to build banking and financial services applications. You will write clean, high-performance code using Java, Spring Boot and microservices, applying strong object-oriented design, GoF design patterns and microservice patterns. Writing observable code is a plus, as is understanding of containerised deployments. Banking or payments experience is highly desirable and knowledge of a front-end framework, preferably React, is an advantage. Requirements: a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field, 3 to 5 years of experience in Java, microservices and Spring Boot, and good communication skills.
