Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer (IC2) in Bengaluru to build backend capabilities for new search and AI retrieval workloads in Azure. You will own features from technical design through production deployment and operation, and improve service quality through hands-on DevOps work such as monitoring, diagnostics, incident response, root-cause analysis, automation and live-site tooling. You will also engage with customers to understand scenarios and resolve issues, and build expertise in Azure provisioning and service management. Requirements: 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, a good grasp of operating systems, networking, concurrency, storage, algorithms, cloud and distributed systems, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
