Eli Lilly is hiring a Data Scientist for AI Drug Discovery in Bengaluru. You will use data science and machine learning to help decide which targets to pursue, which perturbations to test and how cells may respond. A core focus is single-cell biology and virtual cell modelling: building and evaluating in silico models of cell state and response, linking predictions to biological evidence and giving clear recommendations to lab scientists in a team spanning biology, chemistry and engineering. Skills asked: strong Python and hands-on machine learning and deep learning, solid model validation and experimental design, working knowledge of transformers or graph neural networks, and experience with large, noisy biomedical data such as single-cell omics, genetics, chemistry or imaging. A degree in a quantitative field and about 3 years of experience are expected.
