Emerson is hiring a Test Engineer in Hyderabad (hybrid) to validate its next-generation automation controller product lines and IO modules. Working in small agile teams with the product owner, you will derive requirements for verification and validation plans, build test strategies from product and system specifications, and design test systems and automated test fixtures for good coverage. You will be involved in every phase of system test development, from product definition to production release, and estimate tasks and story points. Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Ladder, FBD, SFC), scripting, and Ethernet-based industrial protocols such as MODBUS TCP, PROFINET IO, EtherCAT, IEC 61850, DNP3 and IEC 104 is expected. Requirements: an engineering degree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering and 3-5 years of experience.
