Ericsson is hiring a Transmission Engineer in Noida to provide operational support and assurance for transmission networks. You will operate and support SDH networks (Level 1-3, preferably Marconi, Ericsson or GPT) and DWDM networks (preferably Ciena, Marconi or Ericsson), triage and troubleshoot network incidents, and manage optical fibre infrastructure for availability and reliability. The role also uses jeopardy management to spot potential disruptions early and follows ITIL and change management practices, including timely resolution of hardware issues. Requirements: 3 to 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in the Ericsson transmission domain, and solid knowledge of SDH, DWDM and fibre infrastructure.
