ExxonMobil is hiring an Operations Research Engineer (Advanced) at its Bengaluru technology centre. You will help scope business problems suited to operations research, work with key contacts to define the data, system and constraints to be modelled, and build custom mathematical optimisation and stochastic simulation models using linear programming, mixed-integer programming, system dynamics and discrete event simulation. The role includes validating model quality with cross-functional teams, documenting the methods used and reviewing them with senior technical experts, and managing project timelines and updates for stakeholders across global teams. Candidates should have a strong background in optimisation and/or simulation methods and around 3 years of relevant experience.
