Cisco is hiring a Software Development Test Engineer in Bengaluru for its optical networking products. You will develop and test software following Cisco design thinking principles, with secure coding and a focus on simplicity and user experience, partner with design and product teams, write technical design and user documentation, and debug issues during development and in production. Minimum qualifications: a bachelor degree with 2 years of related experience, or a master degree with no experience required. Excellent test automation skills in Python and other test tools are a must, along with expertise in optical technologies such as DWDM, ROADM and line systems and hands-on optical testing knowledge.
