Amazon is hiring Data Engineer Interns for 2027 in India. Interns help build and run large data pipelines and assemble complex datasets that teams use for business insights and data-driven decisions. The work includes designing data schemas, operating data warehouses and SQL/NoSQL databases, and running ETL jobs from many sources using AWS services such as S3, Redshift, EMR, Glue and Lambda, along with Hadoop-ecosystem tools like Spark and Hive. You will work alongside business analysts, software engineers and data engineers in a fast-paced agile setup. Eligibility: final-year Bachelor's or Master's students in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, with hands-on SQL and Python and a grasp of RDBMS, big data, NoSQL, ETL and data-warehousing concepts. AWS exposure and familiarity with reporting tools are a plus. This is a full-time internship; interns must have no academic or job conflicts during the term and submit a university-signed availability declaration.
