Visa is hiring Software Engineering Interns for its summer internship programme in Bengaluru. Over an intensive 10–12 week internship, interns take on real project assignments, get exposure to Visa business leaders and join networking and social events. The role leans towards front-end and mobile engineering with a user-centred focus. Useful skills include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design and accessibility, plus Objective-C and/or the Android SDK; training in C/C++ and object-oriented design is preferred. Familiarity with software development methodologies, user research, usability testing, WCAG/Section 508 accessibility and UI design for web and mobile is valued, and proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required. Visa also looks for strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills, self-motivation, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work. This is a hybrid role with at least three days a week in the office, as confirmed by the hiring manager.
