Khatabook, which builds business tools and lending products for India's small businesses, is looking for an SDE-I to join its loan collections technology team in Bengaluru. You will build and scale backend services, APIs and user-facing features that power repayment tracking, collections management and automated collection workflows. The role involves working with product managers, designers and senior engineers to turn requirements into reliable technical solutions that improve operational efficiency and the repayment experience. Candidates should have 1–2 years of hands-on software development experience, ideally building backend services in Java/Spring Boot, Node.js/TypeScript or similar, a good grasp of REST APIs, microservices and database fundamentals, and working knowledge of frontend technologies such as React.
